ONE THOUSAND VISITORS SPEND WEEKEND AT MAHARISHI UNIVERSITY OF MANAGEMENT WITH DAVID LYNCH, JOHN HAGELIN, AND DONOVAN

"Your brain needs this…"" These were the words used on the website www.lynchweekend.org to announce an introductory weekend at Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA. Held on 24-26 March the event, entitled Explore the Frontiers of Consciousness, Creativity and the Brain, was designed to share the knowledge of Transcendental Meditation, Consciousness-Based Education, and Maharishi’s world peace programme with students and professors from throughout the USA.

The weekend was hosted by three well-known proponents of TM – filmmaker David Lynch, quantum physicist Dr John Hagelin, and singer Donovan Leitch – whose fame and accomplishments in their respective fields helped to attract 1,000 students and educators to the event, along with TV film crews from Germany, Brazil, and France.
