(29 December 2003) His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi announced an historic two-month course to train Administrators of his Global Country of World Peace – the next grand step in Maharishi’s master plan to create Heaven on Earth through the knowledge of total Natural Law, which administers the universe with perfect order. The training is scheduled to begin on 12 January 2004.

Maharishi said that the newly trained administrators – Rajas in the nomenclature of India – will assist His Majesty Raja Raam, First Ruler of the Global Country of World Peace, in bringing to every government the parental power of total Natural Law – the total will of God – to promote peaceful, successful administration in every nation.

"There must be Rajas in every region of the world who will administer the world with the same flawless perfection as total Natural Law administers the infinite diversity of the universe," Maharishi said. "These Rajas will apply the knowledge of total Natural Law in every area of society to create enlightened individuals, enlightened nations, and an enlightened world. With such global administration through total Natural Law – known in the Vedic literature of ancient India as Raam Raj – suffering will belong to no one."

Maharishi’s declaration came on Wednesday, 24 December, during his global news conference, which was broadcast live via satellite and Internet webcast from the Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in Meru, Holland. Maharishi’s next news conferences will be held 31 December and 1 January.

Maharishi said that the training course comes after nearly 50 years of bringing enlightenment to millions of individuals throughout the world through Transcendental Meditation. Now, Maharishi said, his emphasis is on group practice – establishing in every country groups of a few hundred to a few thousand peace-creating experts to produce a group effect of peace and positivity. "This group practice promises to transform our dear world in one stroke by enlivening total Natural Law in world consciousness. This will eliminate weaknesses in every area of life and create a peaceful, prosperous world family," Maharishi said.

Maharishi said that the Rajas will, through their daily routine of life, quickly rise to enlightenment by enlivening total Natural Law within their own self-referral consciousness. And in their public life, the Rajas will train local educators, doctors, farmers, etc., in the knowledge of total Natural Law to promote prevention-oriented, problem-free administration. "In this way, every undertaking of the Rajas will be supported by the almighty, eternally successful power of total Natural Law – the will of God," Maharishi said.

Maharishi acknowledged that suffering is widespread in the world – but said that suffering is not inevitable. "All suffering is due to lack of proper understanding about the nature of life – which is bliss. We will promote this naturalness of life through Vedic education, Vedic health care, Vedic agriculture – through all the beautiful, glorious Vedic approaches that enliven total Natural Law in all areas of life," Maharishi said.

As an example, Maharishi said that the Rajas will promote Vedic education in the schools, colleges, and universities in every country so that every student’s thought, speech, and action will be supported by the evolutionary power of total Natural Law for a mistake-free, problem-free life. "Total Natural Law is simple to know – only it has to be known by being it," Maharishi said. "And that is now available to every student in the experience of Transcendental Consciousness gained through Transcendental Meditation."

Maharishi concluded by declaring that now is the ideal time for the world to gain this knowledge of perfection of life because every aspect of the knowledge has been applied, understood, and verified for its effectiveness. "That is why we feel comfortable to take this step to train as many custodians of total Natural Law as possible. They will be like beautiful oases in the desert. They will function from the level of total Natural Law – the field of peace – within themselves and be like lighted lamps of peace throughout the world. They will create a beautiful world of harmony, prosperity, and all good for everyone – now and for all times to come," Maharishi said.
