Maharishi’s announcement to the global press

Every government invited
to rise to invincibility

"The complete knowledge of Natural Law
is available to create a perfect nation with
no problems, no poverty, and no suffering"

(24 December 2003) His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi announced that his Global Country of World Peace has extended a warm invitation to every government to rise to invincibility and create permanent world peace through the complete knowledge of total Natural Law, which administers the infinite diversity of the universe with perfect order. Maharishi said that success is ensured because (1) peace is the desire of every sensible individual, (2) the field of peace – total Natural Law – is the inner nature of everyone, and (3) hundreds of scientific studies have validated that Maharishi’s approach creates peace in individual and national life.

Instant communication systems will deliver
Maharishi’s knowledge to the whole world

"The knowledge and technology to create peace are available," Maharishi said. "The approach is simple because peace is the inner nature of everyone’s life. It has been authenticated by modern

scientific research and theories. And now, through today’s instant communication systems, everyone in every part of the world can receive it. That is why it is completely within our reach to create a civilisation that is free from problems and negativity," Maharishi said.

Maharishi’s declaration came on Wednesday, 17 December during his global news conference, which was broadcast live via satellite and Internet webcast from the Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in Meru, Holland. Maharishi’s next news conferences will be held
24 and 25 December.

Enlightenment to every individual and invincibility to every nation

Maharishi said that he came out of the Himalayas nearly 50 years ago with the offer of enlightenment to every individual. Now, Maharishi said, he is offering invincibility to every nation. "With an open heart we warmly invite every government to rise to invincibility through total Natural Law," Maharishi said. "The administration of every nation should be perfect – it should be as natural, simple, and automatic as the administration of the universe. The opportunity is there, and everyone has a choice. So let’s choose what we all deserve – perfection in life."

Consciousness-Based Education to develop total brain functioning
and engage the Unified Field of Natural Law

Maharishi said that the key to perfection in life is Consciousness-Based Education. "Consciousness-Based Education trains the mind to settle down to the unmanifest, self-referral Unified Field, where all the laws of nature are lively and from where the entire manifest world emerges," Maharishi said. "It trains the mind to function from this field of Transcendental Consciousness so that we become the master of all we survey. Consciousness-Based Education offers a great, royal dignity to the life of every individual and every nation."

Maharishi called on education ministers in every country to adopt Consciousness-Based Education. "If you have to teach something, teach the science of consciousness. Teach students to develop their total brain physiology and engage the power of total Natural Law – the light of God – in their thought, speech, and action. And establish groups of coherence-creating experts in schools, colleges, and universities to create an atmosphere of peace and harmony so that no negativity, no problems, no poverty, and no suffering will sprout anywhere in the nation or the world," Maharishi said.

A supreme gift from the Vedic tradition of masters

Maharishi concluded by emphasising that the experience of Transcendental Consciousness is available to everyone – and with that experience comes the ability to accomplish anything in life. "And ‘anything’ in this context means: the ability to create world peace immediately," Maharishi said. "This experience will remove shadows from the world, just as darkness is removed with the onset of light. A beautiful time is dawning for all mankind. It is a supreme gift from the Vedic tradition of masters of India from time immemorial."
