RECENT PRESS REPORT US nationally syndicated political columnist features One of America’s top political columnists, John McCaslin of the Washington Times, featured the offer of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi to train government leaders in successful administration in his nationally syndicated column on 14 August. Writing under the headline, "What is there to lose?", Mr McCaslin said that "Maharishi has offered to train every head of state and their top Cabinet ministers in the most advanced scientific knowledge of total Natural Law so that they can quickly gain enlightenment and create prevention-oriented, problem-free administration in their nations. The training will be held at the convenience of world leaders via videoconferencing so that the heads of state don't have to leave their countries." Mr McCaslin quoted Maharishi as saying, "In a short period of time, these leaders will become enlightened custodians of the Constitution of the Universe, which administers the infinite diversity of the universe with perfect order. And then, following their own culture, religion, and beliefs, these leaders will able to make their people happy, healthy, and fulfilled." |
(20 August 2003) His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi offered to train current government leaders in the complete knowledge of total Natural Law so that they can rise to enlightenment and create flawless administration in their countries. Maharishi said that the training would be held at the convenience of the leaders in their own nations via video conferencing.
Creating a new civilisation of peace and prosperity
Maharishi said that in addition to the leaders of existing governments he will also train a new generation of experts in total Natural Law who will create a new civilisation of peace and prosperity. These experts will be created from among prominent leaders of society, including top leaders of Maharishi’s worldwide Transcendental Meditation movement.
A special month-long Executive Training Conference for them is scheduled to begin on 31 August. Maharishi delivered his announcement during his weekly global news conference on 13 August, which was broadcast live via satellite, Internet webcast, and teleconference call. Maharishi’s next news conferences will be held on 20 and 21 August.
The knowledge is complete, authentic, and applicable to everyone
Maharishi explained the effectiveness of his Executive Training. "Our knowledge of total Natural Law is complete and authentic – it is validated by modern science and ancient Vedic science. It is applicable to people of all countries, cultures, and religious beliefs," Maharishi said. "This is because the field of total Natural Law, which administers the universe with perfect order, is the nature of one’s own self-referral consciousness – one’s own Self. This field is now available to everyone through Transcendental Meditation."
Providing the missing knowledge of successful administration
Maharishi cited the urgent need to hold this training. "The success of an administrator depends upon the expertise available to him. Today, many government leaders are experienced but elderly. They do not have the most up-to-date knowledge of the Unified Field of Natural Law nor do they know how to apply it to create a world free from problems. I am going to provide this missing knowledge. I am going to train new experts in society whose actions will be supported by the enormous power and intelligence of total Natural Law – the light of God – which is always evolutionary for everyone. With this expertise, existing administrators will fulfil their parental role in the nation by providing their people with proper education, health care, agriculture, defence, economics, city planning, and administration."
The task is easy to transform the world
Maharishi emphasised the ease of the administrators’ task. "The cruel, destructive, bloody tendencies in the world will disappear soon because the peaceful influence of total Natural Law is already there within everyone. This is a ‘turnkey’ operation. Simply turn the key through Transcendental Meditation and what you want – enlightenment – is right there within you," Maharishi said.
Maharishi said that the effect of training a few executives in every country will be like lighting a few lamps in a big hall to remove the darkness. "All behaviour born of ignorance will disappear and all behaviour based on enlightenment will spontaneously spread throughout society. This is a beautiful time of fulfilment. The knowledge that we have taught for the past 50 years is going to provide a solid foundation for a happy, healthy, affluent world – and the administrators we are going to train will perpetuate this knowledge for all times to come."
