We are pleased to announce a special course in Maharishi's Vedic Approach to Health to be held in New Delhi in India in September 2003.

This course will be approximately 10 days in duration, and will cover many fascinating areas of Maharishi Ayurveda.

• Knowledge of the profound principles of Maharishi Ayurveda and their practical application;
• Recent developments in the treatment of intractable illnesses;
• For practitioners (doctors and MAV consultants), an opportunity to sit with some of our leading Vaidyas, including Dr Raju, during consultations with clients, and learn from their wisdom and experience;
• Visits to the Maharishi Ayurveda Products production facilities in Noida, near Delhi, with detailed briefing sessions on the natural products manufactured, their uniqueness and efficacy, and research conducted on their benefits for health;
• Maharishi Ayurveda Panchakarma for the course participants, supervised by Dr Raju and his colleagues.

Course participants will stay in the facility where the teaching sessions and Panchakarma treatments will be conducted. Eligibility

This course is open to Maharishi Ayurveda trained doctors and consultants; doctors and other health professionals wishing to practise Maharishi Ayurveda; Maharishi Ayurveda technicians, and those interested in becoming more familiar with Maharishi Ayurveda Products, with a view to becoming involved in the marketing and sales of Maharishi Ayurveda Products in the UK.

There will be an emphasis on practical knowledge during the course, which is specifically designed for those who are either already working professionally with Maharishi Ayurveda, or those who wish to do so in the future. The main purpose of the course is to create successful expansion of Maharishi Ayurveda activities in the UK.

The exact course timetable will be tailored specifically to be of most value for the course participants in attendance. Some of the sessions will be for the whole group. For other sessions, the group may divide, for example, into two parts - medical professionals and others.

One of our most experienced and most respected Vaidyas, Dr Raju, will be in charge of the parts of the timetable dealing with the knowledge and practice of Maharishi Ayurveda, and some of our most experienced personnel from the Maharishi Ayurveda Products production facilities will design and lead the discussions in that area.

As Maharishi has said during recent Press conferences, the healing effect of Maharishi's Vedic Approach to Health is very important in today's world, especially in the aftermath of the war and distress experienced earlier this year. This is of particular importance for our own country, which played a prominent role in hostilities. The unique and profound healing power of Maharishi's Vedic Approach to Health is vital in restoring real balance and peace to the world.

In India, great strides are being made in the field of Maharishi Ayurveda. Some new and very interesting products have been developed; the production facilities are continuing to maintain high international standards; new research has been conducted, showing for example, further profound benefits of Maharishi Amrit Kalash; new training programmes have been developed; the Government of India has included representatives of Maharishi Ayurveda in delegations to European governments; and our leading Vaidyas are continuing to bring profound treatments to patients who are suffering from chronic and intractable conditions.

All these new developments will make the forthcoming course a fascinating and rewarding experience for all who take part, and the ongoing practical benefits in Britain will be very valuable for us all and for our nation.

We would be delighted to hear from everyone who would be interested in attending this course. In particular, those with prior training in Maharishi Ayurveda are encouraged to attend, in addition to anyone with professional training in health care who has not yet as yet attended any training programme in Maharishi Ayurveda. However, we are interested in hearing from all who are interested in gaining more knowledge of Maharishi Ayurveda and in helping in the promotion of Maharishi Ayurveda and Maharishi Ayurveda Products.
