This will be a live broadcast and we do not know how long it will last. However, the highlights will be re-broadcast tomorrow (12 Jan) from 4pm as part of the publicly announced series of six conferences. The re-broadcast will be via satellite, Internet and teleconference.

Global Country of World Peace

(11 January, 2003) His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi proclaimed the inauguration yesterday of the "Master Plan to Establish Prevention-Oriented, Problem-Free Administration" to be the crowning achievement of his nearly 50 years teaching Transcendental Meditation worldwide, and a turning point for the family of nations away from its problem-ridden past towards a golden age of affluence, perfect health, and permanent peace.

Maharishi's proclamation followed the inauguration of the Master Plan by His Majesty Raja Raam, First Ruler of the Global Country of World Peace, and his declaration to offer it to every government. The Maharishi College of Vedic Medicine was also launched during the inauguration. The new college will bring the prevention-oriented, Consciousness-based Maharishi Vedic Approach to Health to the health systems of every country to promote the perfect health of all the people.

"Our Master Plan will provide every head of state with the complete knowledge and scientifically validated technologies to engage Total Natural Law - which administers the infinite diversity of the universe with perfect order - to prevent all problems and suffering and create a new world order of prosperity and peace," His Majesty Raja Raam declared.

"Here is a royal road for every ruler to fulfil the parental role of government - to develop the cosmic creative potential of every individual and to spontaneously prevent anyone from doing anything wrong at anytime, anywhere."

The historic developments took place during an international conference on perfect health - the first day of a six-day series of conferences inaugurating the Master Plan. His Majesty Raja Raam is presiding over conferences on health, education, administration, economy, defence, and architecture, which feature expert presentations by Cabinet Ministers of the Global Country of World Peace.

The inauguration conferences are being held at the Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in Meru, Holland, and broadcast live daily via satellite, Internet webcast, and teleconference call at 4:00 p.m. (GMT), 1700 (CET); 11:00 a.m. (US-EST). (See page 3 for details.)

The Global Country of World Peace this week sent a letter to every head of state inviting them to contract with the Global Country of World Peace to create prevention-oriented and problem-free administration. The programme will involve training, housing, and permanently employing groups of peace-creating experts. The design of the programme is such that the financial obligations of this World Peace Project will be fulfilled without any financial pressure to the government.

However, if some heads of state do not respond right away to the Master Plan, His Majesty Raja Raam said that the Global Country of World Peace will implement the programmes anyway. "This is the all-merciful, parental role of the Global Country of World Peace," His Majesty Raja Raam said. "Every country is a unit of the Global Country of World Peace. So we will ensure that groups of peace-creating experts are established in every country to promote coherent national consciousness, which will support the administration of every government, and to promote coherent world."

The inauguration of His Majesty Raja Raam's Master Plan celebrates the tenth anniversary of his scientific discovery that human physiology is the expression of consciousness - Veda and Vedic Literature. His discovery reveals that every individual has cosmic creative potential, which can be enlivened through the Consciousness-based approach to education offered by the Global Country of World Peace.

His Majesty Raja Raam's discovery also reveals that any disorder of physiology can be prevented and brought to normal functioning by approaching it from the level of consciousness. His discovery forms the basis of a complete new science of medicine - the prevention-oriented, Consciousness-based Maharishi Vedic Approach to Health. This Consciousness-based approach is replacing the intellect-based approach of modern medicine, which uses only partial value of Natural Law, and which is failing in every country due to high costs and hazardous side effects. The scientifically validated Maharishi Vedic Approach to Health will be offered at the new Maharishi Colleges of Vedic Medicine that are now being established worldwide.

Maharishi Colleges of Vedic Medicine will offer four-year degree programmes in perfect health, as well as long and short courses, for students, health professionals, and medical doctors. Many courses will be available over the Internet. His Majesty Raja Raam's 600-page book, Human Physiology: Expression of Veda and Vedic Literature, will provide the medical textbook for the Colleges. Government health ministers are being invited to help establish Maharishi Colleges of Vedic Medicine in every country and integrate the programmes into their existing health systems.
