The purpose of this Assembly is to enlist the support of professionals, business people, educators and students for the establishment in London of two new institutions that will add a vital new dimension to administration in all areas of society, leading to a significant reduction in crime, violence, terrorism and even war, as well as poverty and disease. These new institutions are to be a Peace Palace and a World Peace University where collective practice of the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme, an aspect of Maharishi's Vedic Science and Technology, will be a central feature of the curriculum.

This project is based on the conclusive scientific evidence that the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme is a powerful technology of peace with a wide range of additional benefits for both individual and social life.

Organic agriculture will also feature in the project.

At a time when the current approach to administration at all levels of government is showing itself inadequate to safeguard human life, an approach that has been scientifically proven to work should be examined with an open mind as a matter of urgency.
